The Rognarr I believe were so strong because their planet had extremely strong gravity. I think the Viltrumites just said fuck it and blocked out their sun to finally “kill” them
well Nolan blocked the sun but they froze but they still did not die they were that strong Nolan should have gone straight to the planets core and destroyed it
