Jonathan Frakes. I know Jeffrey Dean Morgan is everyone’s favorite, but for me personally I always heard an air of savage sophistication, cunning and propriety in my head when I read his dialogue, and I’m not sure that’s in his wheelhouse. Frakes did a good job of this as Xanatos on the “Gargoyles” animated show. I know it’s a long shot but I really think he could knock it out of the park.
