    Wasn’ta huge fan of the end is the comic [Comic spoiler] >! The whole comic is imperialism=bad, but at the end it just ended up being "still imperialism, but we’re just gonna be nice about it!<

      Yah it’s idealistic mistakes are still made. There isn’t an ending that would be perfect for every audience.

      I guess I see how it could be about imperialism but to me the entire series seemed to be about love and human compassion.

      Basically every character has some ego death experience due to their love for someone else in the series. It pushes them beyond their bounds and makes them “invincible”
