Man I didn’t like that special, I thought they would come more harshly at Disney and the multiverse theme, it felt like an average episode. Streaming wars was better

Streaming wars was dog shit on purpose to make fun of them having to participate in the real streaming wars, it’s meta theme was the best part of it

I have to be honest, I hated first when I saw it, but then saw a video explaining the meaning behind it (the one you just mentioned) and it made me enjoy it even more.

Thinking about it now, having to watch a video explaining a special, it kinda shows that the special wasn’t that great lol

😄 Yeah they did the same kind of thing here too. This felt lackluster bc of all the replacements but again I think that was the point. They did pretty good with it though, but the ending was in line with the other recent specials, kind of weak, basically “it is what it is, let’s all get along.” I like that they poked fun at Rick and Morty too along with other multiverse stuff and ofc, the pandering.

I loved making it Cartman’s worry as opposed to pandering to the opposite crowd of bigots, just running the story of pandering representation through a bigot like Cartman’s eyes. I was worried when I saw the picture for this special but I loved it

They landed the plane well at the end - pandering to the woke is lazy but so is constantly bitching about wokeness. There is always a nuanced angle to make fun of anything. I keep trying, no matter how pissed of my girlfriend gets

pandering to the woke is lazy

It’s also extremely annoying when literally anything that has any diversity is called “woke” these days. Kim Possible would be woke because incels call anything with a woman woke now. Though that’s what my worry was initially seeing the pictures leading up to this. There’s a lot of greatness that comes from diversity

I haven’t watched it yet. But so are they targeting both sides of pandering argument? Or are they focusing on one side?
