Come on. Far from believable. She is ridiculous but then so is he. He is one who needs a bossy woman I think.
“Her family isn’t coming to the wedding because they disapprove”? I know her sister didn’t like Eric but I didn’t get that from her parents. And when do her lies get exposed. That I want to see.
She showed pictures - maybe she was exaggerating, but it looked like a magazine wedding.
And yes - I believe her parents don’t want to give her more money and they may be rich. They have other children, they may prefer them (especially if they also have a son - this is common in many countries - married daughters are not their concern, especially if they have been divorced once).
