A “hit and run” is when you hit a person, and run away. When you leave after bumping into another car, that’s technically against the law in all civilized countries, sure, but it’s not a big deal.

So I seriously doubt this will affect his career. He’ll have his license suspended, and he’ll pay a fine, and that will be that.

No big deal? If you hit a car you can still injure the people in it, you don’t need to hit a person for it to be a big deal. We don’t know the extent of the damage. He is a public figure. We don’t know why they hit each other, maybe he ran through a red light, made an illegal turn or lane change, we know absolutely nothing about the circumstances. Yes it is a big deal.

“we know nothing about the circumstances” “It’s a big deal”

I never saw this rhetoric few years ago, nowadays everyone is so chronically online and jaded and assume the worst. It’d be a big deal if he went through a crowd of people or wrecked a car.

Maybe he was in a rush, maybe if were a fender bender he saw everyone’s ok and scrammed. Shitty move, yes, but some of ya’ll act like he’s the next Hitler for something that could’ve easily been a bad move and a moment of frustration because ya’ll keep pretending like everyone’s perfect and can’t make mistakes or bad calls.

FFS… every day it seems like we’re getting back to middle ages and witch hunts how dumb and black and white the mob sheeple are.
