I’m just curious, has moving to the United States ever been discuss? Is there reason Armando can’t come here? It seems like they currently live pretty close to the US border on the California side. It’s seem like moving to San Diego area would still be close enough for Armando to drive and visit family within a few hours as opposed to Mexico city. Life would be safer and provide more opportunities for Hanna. Just wondering if anyone knows if it’s been discussed.

Why would they wanna spend so much income living in San Diego? seems financially irresponsible considering Kenny older now. Safer? How much so? They don’t seem in a unsafe. Many areas just nice places to live there. It’s a huge country.

I saw an interview with Armando once where he said he doesn’t want to take Hannah away from her extended family.

Well, if he takes her to Mexico city she be further away than a two hour drive if they live in the San Diego area. I think he does have a visa issue. Otherwise, this would be a discussion they would have. Makes perfect sense.

I don’t think he wants Hannah to grow up away from her family in Mexico. Sounds like he wants her to grow up Mexican, not American.

I read somewhere here on Reddit that Armando overstayed his visa in the U.S. awhile ago and can’t come back. Someone had asked why Armando never joins Kenny at the tell alls in person and this apparently, was the reason. I don’t know for sure but remembering reading it.

They want Hannah to be near her family and Armando wants to be close to his family so he can easily visit, too. I don’t know how much the visa thing plays into it, honestly. I don’t think Armando wants to raise Hannah in the US anyway.

Kenny posted an interview where he said they filed for spousal visa and they are just waiting on approval so maybe soon? I know any type of visa process can take years to come to America.

They talked about it on the first season with them, don’t quote me but I believe Armando was in the US on a visa and overstayed his visa, so he was deported. There is a temporary ban (I believe 10 years) on reentering the US after being deported… even once the ban is over, it’s very hard to be granted another visa.

I am a bit jealous and a bit dismayed, truly mixed emotions about Kenny leaving his children and grandchild (plus the unborn) for love. I couldn’t do this. I still can’t. Very hard for me to understand, but not in a negative judgmental way. I had a marriage end because I couldn’t bear to not share life with my own children and grandkids. Maybe Kenny is taking care of himself in ways i wasn’t able to . Or maybe, he will regret his decision. Brings up a lot of questions for me in trying to relate. I do believe they are deeply in love. I am not sure how he will feel over time. Having another child is going to be difficult for his family in the USA, at least I think it will. I could be wrong.
