In “Nobody Got Cereal”, it bugged me how the boys felt like they had to smooze Al Gore after realizing ManBearPig was real. What they really SHOULD have done was call him out. Yes, he was right all along about ManBearPig, but he also claimed to have killed ManBearPig too. After nearly drowning the boys in the cave, he bragged repeatedly that he killed ManBearPig. Instead of coming to Al Gore to admit he was right, they should have said “Well well well, if it isn’t the man who killed ManBearPig!” “Yeah ManBearPig slayer, you said you killed ManBearPig ‘singlehandedly’ did you not?” “Oh wait! ManBearPig is out there slaughtering people! So you DIDN’T kill ManBearPig did you?” They had many opportunities to call him out for lying and nearly getting them killed. They had the chance when he left them to deal with ManBearPig themselves. I guess they didn’t think of it at the time.

Mostly because manbearpig was them making fun of climate change, matt and trey thought it was fake. The revisit of it, and manbearpig being real is them admitting they were wrong back then.
