I love how Kenny and Armando speak to Hannah with the respect you give an adult. Many parents invalidate their children’s feelings because “mother/father knows best.” But Kenny and Armando treat Hannah like she is their third partner in life, with equal say, and with lots of consideration, unlike a lot of other parents we have seen in this shows history. I think that’s really beautiful. It also seems they are careful to protect her from too much exposure to the adult world. It’s been shown time and time again how close this family is and I love that Hannah is so open to Kenny as a step parent. It’s clear Kenny and Armando were born to be parents, in my opinion, and they never stop working at keeping their family happy and strong. I know that’s based only what we can see on tv…. But I don’t think they are acting. The world needs more like aren’t like this. 🙌🏻

Edit: let’s not forget all the work Armando especially put in, in earlier seasons, with his parents and his own family who were struggling to accept his new relationship. They didn’t understand how he could love Hannah’s mom but then love Kenny. Armando and Kenny also brought Armando’s mom to speak about their idea of moving to Mexico City. There is just so much consideration for everyone involved in their lives and it’s very touching to see how transparent they are with each other about their feelings. Armando’s mom is an mvp for coming on tv and being vulnerable when she definitely didn’t have to.

    I hate that Armando needs another baby :( You’ve got a beautiful family and Kenny’s 60 year old ass doesn’t want to raise a second generation. That wasn’t respected and felt sad

    Armando bullied Kenney into agreeing to a child when it was clear to everyone that it was too much for Kenney. He was going to do it no matter what Hannah said.

      I agree. They asked her how she felt but ultimately they are going to do what they want. Hannah said clearly she wanted an older child probably one to play with her but then they sway her into being okay with a baby.

    The guilt tripping from Armando’s mom was so hard to watch though. Unfortunately far too common for a Mexican child who breaks out of the mold and I applaud Armando’s courage to have those conversations with his mom. The intergenerational trauma and pressure is So real.

        To be fair, Armandos doing to same thing with the baby situation. Kenny CLEARLY does not want another kid, and Armando is literally ignoring the obvious signs and pushing more and more for it. Honestly I don’t get why they don’t just move to the US. The whole point of being in Mexico was for Hannah to be near family, and now she’s not.

        People can say all day long that Mexico City is safe.

        As a mom, I would be afraid for the safety of my son, and for Hannah.

        They are celebrities, and criminals would be able to glean a lot about their lives.

            Chicago isn’t even safe. Mexican City is sure as hell way worse. The cartels are literally running around there and run the city.

    I think they do great overall, but pushing an adopted sibling on her is way too much. She expressed disinterest in that, she’s the perfect child as is, why rock the boat?

    She only agreed to it after pressure. She has no idea the depth of what adding an unknown element to the family will mean. They need to leave well enough alone.

    I agree, they have a wonderful relationship with Hannah. I never tear up over stuff like this, but I did when Armando was reassuring her that she’ll always be his number one 😭

      And what about the baby when/if they ever see this episode? So, Hannah is the favorite child and the new baby will only ever be his #2. It’s never a good idea to put one child above another.

    I don’t know why they give her so much say honestly. Yes she should be told what’s going on but she is a child and it feels like they are trying way too hard to appease her and not upset her.

    Granted I personally can’t stand either of them, they always come across as super whiney and everything seems like it sooooo dramatic, and then they’re crying all the time which annoys me to no end

    They could have their own show about parenting. Kenny is a fantastic parent and grandparent. I think they b should just all move to Florida where his family lives. Armando and Hannah can visit in Mexico.
