I’m 6 episodes into season 2. This dude Ricky is so gross. He was giving his first girlfriend money every week. He said she’s his “soul mate.” And he was prepared to propose to her. Pretty serious right?

After the first (and only) meeting, she ghosted him. This guy then contacts a “friend” from Colombia for a booty call. This friend was actually someone he was also dating online —behind the “love of his life’s” back. This creep hedged his bets and had a spare Colombian woman ready to go.

What makes him particularly gross is how shallow he is. He clearly considered the first woman more attractive than the second woman. I know that’s why his shallow ass prioritized her. The second woman is very attractive, she seems to actually have a personality, and she’s interested in him (for whatever reason).

His character is so weak that he was going to choose a woman solely based on looks. If the first woman gave him a bit more attention, he would have ghosted the second woman. There’s something about behavior like that that’s alarming. I don’t think he could possibly objectify women anymore than he has.

[He’s on right now as I’m typing and this creepy idiot called the second girl by the first girl’s name. Ugh, he skeeves me out.]

    I’m binging in before the 90 days and that was the most recent season I watched. He definitley still had feelings for Melissa even when he was with Ximena.

    Didn’t someone say this guys storyline was fake?

    The woman he wanted to be with was Ximena but TLC made him see Melissa first and then it didn’t work out obviously so they let him see Melissa. Something like that?

    Re: Ricky…I remember him trying to go to Siberia to try to find a girlfriend (I think?). Someone screenshot a long Facebook/IG post that he posted about it- basically he explained what he was doing in detail, then asked for privacy.
