I have two. The Ritual and Drowning.

The Ritual is pure smut. 61 chapters and every one contains a graphic, demeaning sex scene. I’m convinced the author was an adult film screenwriter and decided to try their hand at writing a novel. There isn’t a single likable character in this book.

Drowning isn’t a great work of literature. I felt that the characters were very two-dimensional. I hated how naive the author made the protagonist. It made me have a lack of sympathy for her. The ending was series finale of Dexter bad.

    The Lovely Bones , just no

    This was a 2/5, written that I could easily read it, but just boring, despite an interesting premise. The whole the dead woman being alive to the reader really takes a lot out of it and seeing her watch and commentate on her family’s doings.

    What drops it to a 1/5 is looking at some of the spoilers in the review, bah gawd what an awful idea. Don’t believe me?

    !Main character posses a girl and uses that body to have sex with a guy who kissed her and liked her in high school. Also the boy and girl are/were friends and now everything has been changed and out of that poor girls control!<

    Cant believe something like that got past an editor or an author would even think that is a good idea

    I also hated This is how you lose the time war but I will admit it is definitely not for me, where Lovely Bones I can say is trash
