Oh no! I tried to read “It” by Stephen King but i hate some parts of the book and i endend up abandoning. The caracteres are incredible, right? But I think this isn´t enought to compensate the all problems that book have.

The essence of history is the caracteres, when they are young, and when are adult. But the “IT” proper, in my opinion, pops up less times and this ruined the book for me. I can´t feel scared with the scenes, and I think that´s happens because the story of caracters is dragged, and sometimes, boring.

And you, like the book of Stephen king?

(Sorry, my english is not good at all, but I´m trying to learn :) )

I’m reading it right now for the first time. I’ve seen the original movie maybe as dozen times. On Halloween I watched the original and the two part remake (something like 9 it’s worth of movie), so I decided to read it.

If I wasn’t already invested in the characters and particularly interested in the story not shown, there’s no way I could make it through this book.

King actually is a good writer (I was kind of shocked to discover), he just goes on far too long about things that don’t drive the story forward and nobody actually cares about.
