Oh no! I tried to read “It” by Stephen King but i hate some parts of the book and i endend up abandoning. The caracteres are incredible, right? But I think this isn´t enought to compensate the all problems that book have.

The essence of history is the caracteres, when they are young, and when are adult. But the “IT” proper, in my opinion, pops up less times and this ruined the book for me. I can´t feel scared with the scenes, and I think that´s happens because the story of caracters is dragged, and sometimes, boring.

And you, like the book of Stephen king?

(Sorry, my english is not good at all, but I´m trying to learn :) )

This summer I realized I’d read every King book except It, The Stand, Dark Tower series and Salems Lot. I read Salems Lot and loved it. Started It, halfway through I was bored, putting it down for days at a time which isn’t like me, at the 3/4 mark I just completely stopped. I attribute my lack of interest to the multiple movies and miniseries, all of which I’ve seen but can’t say I really enjoyed. I never really liked It, think that’s why I hadn’t read book b4. It’s not his worst book, not even close, but bored me (and I don’t read King for the “horror/fright” value.
