I just showed my brother the scene where Jamie teaches Roy to ride a bike and he was hooked immediately. Which would you have picked?

    My mind is jumping to the scene where Roy and Keely have their first onscreen conversation.

    • Frames up the season’s conflicts (Roy and everyone is irritated by Ted, Roy is irritated by Jamie tenfold)
    • Keely is shown as the voice of reason and subverts the ditsy girl stereotype
    • their love story is a big draw and this scene kinda sparks it
    • Roy is shirtless

    My only con is that Roy goes the goofy imitation of Ted and that was the scene that sold me on Roy as a character and they wouldn’t see the stoic jerk Roy was introduced as.

      Oh your con is my pro for that scene. I love showing people the bad impression because Keeley doesn’t even hesitate to tell him how bad he is at it and then proceeds to do Roy and nails it. Just great!
