I’m 50% into Verity by Colleen Hoover. It’s a highly rated book on Good Reads and the most popular book available by kindle at my library right now. It was decent in the beginning but I feel like it’s dragging and I don’t relate to any of the characters or storyline. I don’t like any of the characters actually. Does anyone who has read the book think I should stick to it or move on?

I like the writing style so if there is a better Colleen Hoover book, let me know.

There are much better thrillers out there and there is no such thing as a good Colleen Hoover book.

It’s a ridiculous book but at least it was a fast read for me. If you find it slow then don’t bother because that’s it’s saving Grace.

It wasn’t nearly as clever or shocking as I was led to believe. Overall, found it to be mediocre and as others mentioned, the writing itself was quite uninspired.

I wouldn’t say it’s terrible. It’s just so predictable and cringe, and the ending was… well you’ll see. I say just finish it. I read this when I was trying to get back into reading again after a long lull. The suspense and spice held my attention, but it does lack depth and just… the end.
