I watched last season and am currently watching the newest one. It just seems like every interaction between any of these couples is just awkward, angry, fighting, disagreements. I understand that a show needs the drama to keep things interesting. Like why is there never a conflict that comes to a happy compromise or someone saying they understand the other persons feelings.

It’s like they’re constantly fighting about money. Someone wants to spend so much, the other says they don’t have it… It just blows my mind that no one ever just understands like at least one of them? Like one could say “I get it, we’ll get these things when the money is there” or “You’re right we need to spruce up some things to help you feel comfortable.”

It’s always just a fight with no resolution! So unsatisfying. I constantly find myself wanting to scream at the TV “Break up! Go home!”

I feel like I could really like the show if any of them like actually joked together or just had a lovely moment without the extra thick layer of awkward cringe over every second. This isn’t how being engaged is supposed to be right? Like… shouldn’t someone at least be excited about being with a partner they love?

Like are there any couples like that on any of the past seasons that I didn’t see?

Why do I watch this? Lol… I guess there’s nothing better to do.

I first got introduced to this show from the guy who wore a fish condom. I watched that season with my mom and brother and even though we don’t watch these kinds of shows we were hooked. I haven’t seen another season other than the latest one and I think they deliberately find the most awkward people to watch not just awkwardness but this season specifically seems like they picked the most botoxed plastic women possible which makes it even more surreal. I enjoy watching trainwrecks and am immune to cringe so I actually kind of love it. Might check out previous seasons.
