So for Christmas I’m considering getting “The Glass Hotel” and "Sea of Tranquility” for my mom, since “Station Eleven” is her all-time favorite book and TV show and I’ve heard these two have a similar vibe. Do you think she’d enjoy them? Which book do you think is more similar to Station Eleven? And which one did you enjoy more?
I’ve just finished both. Tranquility deals with the question of bending time. The Glass Hotel is more of a character study in more traditional situations. I enjoyed Glass more as I prefer deep character novels.
