Hey y’all, what’s up? So, earlier this year I’ve read Jhumpa Lahiri’s Pulitzer prize winning short story collection “Interpreter of Maladies”, and became fascinated with her, some stories better than others, that’s for sure, but I was able to find two new favorite short stories, those being “A Temporary Matter” and “Sexy”, they had everything I search for when reading a short story, in my opinion they were perfectly written, all the characters so well crafted, the plots were immaculate… simply putting: they were perfect! I can’t choose which one of the two is my favorite, I need to reread to figure that out, but definitely both being six out of five. Anyway… And since I loved these two, liked a lot some others in the collection, I’ve been thinking about trying some of her other works, but I’m afraid of getting disappointed, I have in mind trying her other collection called “Unaccustomed Earth” and also her novel called “The Namesake”, and I wanted to hear opinions about these other works if y’all have read and if y’all think they’re as good as the collection I read. Also, if you have read this collection “Interpreter of Maladies” and liked it, give me a comment saying which ones you liked the most and if you have any short story collection to recommend of other authors. Thanks in advance for you time! Peace✌️

‘A Temporary Matter’ is so brilliant.

The only novel of hers that I’ve read is The Lowland. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.
