I’ve got: Van Gogh’s Sunflowers in Amsterdam, the bbq sauce and American-themed restaurant, the Wizard of Oz pinball machine at the pub, his mom’s sunflower bread. What other signs are there in S3 telling Ted to go home to Kansas?

Maybe even the very first scene of the 1st episode of season 3. and the fact that every seasons starts and ends with a shot of a face of the character, who undergoes the biggest change:
Rebecca in s1, Nate in s2, and in s3 we literally open on Ted’s face. Sad, because his son is leaving. So that’s somewhat of a sign, mostly for us, that by the end,

we’ll end on his face happy and at peace, but probably also living with his son again.

the first episode when it’s Jamie who reminds the players to let the poop-ay just float on by… and Ted realizes he doesn’t have to intervene, the team has figured it out. These things happened throughout season 3 to the point where Ted feels like he’s on the sidelines now; that his teaching/coaching is no longer as needed as before. The team, the coaches, everyone is functioning as they should be in his paradigm of how to be a successful team.

I thought the most obvious one was when Ted found out his ex-wife was dating his previous marriage therapist
