To those of you who are acting like it is totally fine and normal for TJ and his family to expect Kimberly to wake up at 6am to cook and clean for the men of their household everyday, on top of the fact that TJ lied to her about this and purposely did not tell her until they got married… please get a new man, you deserve better.
TJ’s reaction to her saying, whoever doesn’t cook has to do the dishes. He was shocked that she would ever think that he, a man, would have to do such a thing! He’s such a liar.
I know someone born in Canada, but of Indian descent. His wife does all the cooking and cleaning. He only does the outside chores. It is very 1950s division of labor.
Some of us don’t mind this arrangement. It’s how my marriage of 18 years has been since we had kids and I stopped working. We are both immigrants to Canada so there’s that 😅
Had many bfs cook and clean in the past or the division of labor is more balanced, so I cant imagine personally.
