As the title says, where is a reliable and reasonable place to buy old books? I specifically want the old Arsene Lupin books in French because I speak the language and want to read it in the original format. They were released in the early 1900s, so it’s not super old, but I cannot find them efficiently. Any recommendations?
Yes Abebooks.
Abe’s books online
You might try amazon-France or rare book dealers.
Bought by Amazon :/
You can read them on archive.org
Occasionally betterworldbooks.com or ABEbooks, eBay.
You can look for the type of book you want, first editions do pop up from time to time
To add to this, thrift books has an eBay store where the shipping is free. I think on their website there is a minimum order to get free shipping. Book price is the same on eBay as the website, but free shipping even on a single book.
Thanks for the info!
I find my old books of choice in antique/second hand/used bookstores or fleamarkets.
If you live in an area with a Half Price Books they have a section of old books. I’ve always found unique things in there and typically at good prices
Do you need a physical copy? Because some are available at https://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/search/?query=lupin&submit\_search=Go!
