I get that she was up front about money and expectations. But all that aside she literally abused Jorge physically, emotionally, and financially. She controlled that guys entire life and never even apologized for it. And I’m not saying that Jorge is a great guy or anything. But abuse is abuse and she checks off all the boxes.

Nothing wrong with wanting a wealthier partner, the problem is that she degraded and humiliated him over it. If she had no problem with acting violent on camera then I don’t even want to imagine what she was like off camera.

Exactly this. It was refreshing to hear it spelled out like that. Sooooooo many of the relationships in this franchise are transactional, both ways! But the woman always gets the brunt of the hate for being a “gold digger”.
Also it was just so deliciously funny to hear Jorge in his first episode say how much he disliked American women because they were too “feminist” only to have this Russian woman completely put him in his place without breaking a sweat!

I never considered her the villain the villain was George for being a jerk and misleading her. And I mean how far back in history do they have to go to dig up these villains Jonny Fairplay wasn’t he on survivor like 20 years ago? Most of those folks are from years ago I’m imagining a lot of people won’t even know who they are! Bad girls club? Sometimes the contrived things to just come up with for a TV show kills me.
I say this all the time. She was EVERY type of abusive. Isolated him from his family. Slapped him openly. Keyed his car. Emotional abuse, screamed at him for merely leaving the house without her permission. Imagine if that were a man.

She’s not trash. Her temper aside, I would say she has done more for herself as a immigrant then most 90 day cast members… English isn’t her first language and she graduates UCI with honors. She is brutally honest and people can be uncomfortable with that. Jorge was brutally dishonest and was backstabber. I would take a straight shooter any day. That said, putting your hands on someone is never okay. There is zero excuse for that and can get you domestic violence charges.

(not to be confused with a good person) every second of anfisa and jorge was insanity and it made fantastic television. she’s such a spoiled princess and he’s such a grimy gross pervert. it really feeds into the dichotomy of ‘girlboss make his pockets hurt!!’ chicks and passport bro dudes
Anfisa is still a thing? That was like a decade ago.
She was terrible and I hated her.
But I also hated him. He lied to get her to move and commit with him. And when you think about visas, and her obviously wanting to make a better life for herself, he basically ruined her chance to get another visa. How many fiancee visas are they gonna approve for one person… he kinda fucked her over.
I do not mean to say it was her right to abuse him, because it was 100% wrong of her to do, regardless of how much of a snake he was too.
For me its more like “well shes honest” and Jorge is a liar. Doesn’t mean shes a good person or her actions arent abusive
