For years I was in a very toxic marriage. We had children together so I stayed, I stayed WAYYY too long, for the kids.
When Jasmine found the lip gloss I felt my own body tense up due to my past experience with a toxic female like her (And Angela). If my wife so much as found a receipt for 2 burgers from McDonalds she would accuse me of buying one for a female. She would berate me, belittle me, and make me fear her.
As a man I didn’t fear her physically, I feared the screaming she would do, and the mental destruction she would do. I wasn’t allowed to go to the gym because I was going to “pick up chicks”, we had a joint email, I wasn’t allowed to have my own, she went through my text messages on a daily basis, she hated my family and I wasn’t allowed to speak to them for years, and I wasn’t allowed to have social media.
Why wouldn’t I just stand up to her? I tried, many times. She alway stole me she would take my daughters and Id never see them again. One time I packed my things and told her I was leaving her, so she scratched herself on the neck and told me she was calling the police. My kids were asleep, so she made sure to scream “why would you grab my neck”, even though I was standing across the room from her. It was mental torture. She showed up at my work multiple times, embarrassing me in front of coworkers. I went through some of the best years of my life contemplating suicide, I could never do it because of my daughters.
The fact that TLC ALLOWS this to go on is horrible. She eventually cheated on me and my kids were older so I finally left. It has been 12 years since I left her, I am VERY happily remarried now, but I go to therapy once a week.
The similarities between her and Jasmine are crazy. She was hispanic. Had a child. Addicted to plastic surgery. Hated my family. Kept tabs on me 24/7… If it usually took me 15mins to get home from work and one day it took me 20, I had to account for the other 5 minutes. She is also remarried and doing the same thing with her new husband from what I have been told.
TLC is horrible for allowing this and encouraging what is happening to Gino. Angela is right up there too, but Jasmine is THE WORST

TLC doesn’t allow anything, Gino does. TLC just films it and profits off it because we can’t take our eyes off the train wreck that is their relationship.
Simply put, something is wrong with Jasmin. Gino isn’t perfect but she ain’t playing with a full deck. Gino allows it though, in spite of his family telling him and her presenting more red flags that a Chinese parade. Gino can’t be helped until he helps himself.
