i have two bins completely full of books. i’m trying to downsize and they just take us sooo much room. there are probably like 100+ books in these bins of different genres for all different ages.

i spent a lot of money on this collection and i’m trying to make like $1 or $2 on them. most of them are new, nice books. i spent $20+ on a lot of them and i just want a tiny bit back.

where can you sell books/what is the best place to get people to buy them?

Selling some right now off Facebook marketplace, also half priced used book stores buy books and you can sell online on craigslist/ eBay/ Amazon/half.com, lots of options.

If you have any textbooks or really old books bring them into your local university (if you have one), then any new books try your local library (if you have one) and any really tattered books try your local charity shop.

I use the Pangobooks app. Super easy to list and sell. If they are fairly new releases I can usually get a little more out of them. Plus I just use the money I make from them to buy more books on the app. It’s become a whole thing but I love it.

Ditto what someone else said here. Find the best nearest used bookstore and trade em for store credit (most stores will give more credit than cash). Turn old books you won’t re-read into new or new to you ones that you will. That’s what I do.

If you don’t want to go that route, there’s an app called decluttr, you scan the barcodes or enter the ISBNs, they quote you a price, send you a shipping label to mail to them, and paypal you the money when they receive.
