One of my first books ⚠️spoilers⚠️

Overall rating: 8/10

Would definitely re-read

UGLY LOVE -Colleen Hoover The tension was insane. The whole book had me on my toes wondering what would happen next. Miles story was breathtaking and so heartfelt. Learning about Rachel and the love story that shattered miles heart was honestly life changing. After I read this book I couldn’t stop reading. Ugly love sent me on a book reading Spiral. I was so obsessed to find another book as amazing as this I was reading 2-3 books every 2 weeks or less. Tate is one of my favourite book characters, I could sort of relate to her about school and how I want to go on a similar career path as her. Reading about her relationship with her family (especially her brother) and kinda had me hoping my family will be as beautiful in the future. The tension between miles and Tate was AMAZING!! The bathroom scene had me SHAKING AHHHH! Over all the character development was amazing. Miles found himself and opened up to Tate and likewise. I’m super pissed about certain parts including the obvious scene when miles says Rachel’s name in the middle of sex with Tate. I hated how much miles would walk all over Tate and kinda ghost her? But in a way I think that also made me love this book too, it showed harsh realities, and broken people. The ending was cute so I definitely loved that~

I’m glad you found something that brought out your passion for reading! However, you’re not going to see much Colleen Hoover love here…

    I’m glad you enjoyed it!

I’m sure you noticed a lot of people don’t love Colleen Hoover around here. But personally, I read for enjoyment. And escapism. A lot of the criticism I’ve seen for her books are that the relationships are unhealthy and unrealistic. And I can definitely agree. But at the same time LOTS of people actually have unhealthy relationships. If you enjoy her writing style and the plot, I say keep reading her books. I’ve read like six of her books.

For cheesy love stories I would also recommend Emily Henry.
