I didn’t realize that the film Withnail and I came from an unpublished book by Bruck Robinson, who then turned it into a screenplay and became the film’s director. I’ve been reading some of the screenplay, and it’s just as hilarious as the movie. Has anyone read it or seen the book? What are your thoughts?
