I see a lot of people hating on Eve’s dad, and rightfully so. He’s bigoted, aggressive and extremely dismissive of Eve’s powers and feelings. He also is just an overall dick….BUT he did make a point when he said this. Eve sometimes rushes to help without fully understand the context of situation since her powers are so busted and wide-ranging. So far that hasn’t been a huge issue, at least that we’ve seen on screen, but last week’s episode showed us the negative repercussions of her actions. So as it stands, Eve’s dad is wrong 99% of the time, but right on this rare instance. What do y’all think?

I hated on him in the comics but I love how they’re using him as a way to demonstrate to the audience the same argument the boy’s tries to make, the matter of handling human lives is very very very incredibly delicate. Eve tends to act like one of those white missionaries that go to Africa in the comics, that think that they’re doing good by illegally treating humans that need serious medical attention, bringing someone back to health shouldn’t just be a matter of feeding them, especially when they’re stomach is used to being closed after not eating for so long. There’s no thought to permanent care either, to keep the person consistently healthy. The park was a simple way to show why that fails.
