Is anyone else wanting to reach through the screen and punch Jovi after this episode? The way he’s gaslighting her and saying “I said sorry, it’s done” like he can control the timeline in which someone gets over his poor behaviour is wild.
He needs rehab, he has a serious issue with alcohol and strippers. The whole “looking and not touching” while plastered is just going to end in him eventually cheating even if he hasn’t yet, how can it not happen?
He seemed to get off on watching the guys (when he took them to the strip club last time) watching the guys go crazy. Jovi seems more like the type who “likes to watch”. And if he is technically drunk all the time (functioning alcoholic), he may not be able to function very good himself in that department.
I don’t think so cuz this was yaras major complaint at sex therapy. He constantly wants sex so there assignment was just to cuddle intimacy without sex and he couldn’t do it.
I got the same vibe while watching them at the strip club - but I think he gets off on feeling powerful.
It started when he was orchestrating this trip for the guys and bragging about what a good night they will have thanks to his extensive strip club knowledge. He totally gets off on being the leader of the pack.
Then he pretty much insists on texting the stripper, even the other guys obviously weren’t that into the idea! He brought it up like 5 times! No one cares about your stripper friend from Jamaica from years ago, weirdo.
Even him being obsessed with strippers is a weird power play, in my opinion. He knows they will play along for money. He makes it obvious he’s willing to spend it.
Then, at the club, he LIT UP when Ed touched those girls. He was practically glowing! It’s because now he had something to hold over Ed (he even said something about it to Ed immediately later!).
The whole thing just made me feel like he is deeply insecure and feels like “the man” at strip clubs.
