My pick would have to be the A Whole Nother Story trilogy, in which (spoiler warning) you can only travel back in time. But because time is in a loop of sorts, if you go before the beginning of time, you will be at the end of time. From there you can go back to any time you want to. And time paradoxes cannot be produced. Plus, your memories from the previous timeline exist as well as the memories from the new one.

This Time Tomorrow by Emma Straub. I really loved that it centered parental love instead of romantic love as the motivation to time travel.

Atomic Anna by Rachel Barenbaum also has parental time travel as a motivation! It has long stretches of non-sci fi stuff happening too (family drama story) so may not be for someone who has more of an itch for lots of sci fi stuff. But I really enjoyed it.

I found the main character of this book so insufferable that I DNFed at 50% lol. It really bothers me when people treat living in NYC like it’s a personality trait
