These scenes are the only ones that make me truly uncomfortable in the entire show. The sex change footage was just disgusting but these were flat out disturbing. Even if they’re based on scenes it still makes me uncomfortable. At least it helped me feel what the boys were feeling
Same. I know too many people who have suffered heavily from sexual violence in their lives. Yes I know it’s South Park I’m obsessed with the damn show and watch it constantly I get the parody element and can take a joke. But it makes my skin crawl because I think about how closely it matched how my friend described to me what happened to her. She almost died.
It’s brilliant. They didn’t just take some famous cinematic rape scenes for comedic reference, they recreated them so close to the original sources that it doesn’t quite parody them to the point of complete humor. The only thing funny are the identities of the characters being portrayed, but the scenes themselves were just about as uncomfortably gross as they were in the original movies. Really makes you think Trey and Matt must have felt pretty strong about this subject if they wanted their audience to a bit more disgust than usual. And hey, the whole episode is about cinematic integrity, so paying homage to these famous film scenes is an extra bonus.

oh yea when Mr Garrison switched with the random real-life footage bugged me so bad.
