He literally does not have a pot to piss in. It is mystifying to think that he has money in the bank or investments or owns real estate. And of course he doesn’t have a job so he has no income. Does anyone have any idea how this could possibly have been approved?

    I also doubt she is there on a K1 visa. It’s more logic she’s there on a 3 month tourist visa. Or are tourist visa’s shorter in the US?

    If there was an affidavit of support requirement for Sophie’s visa, if Rob could not meet the income requirement, they could use what is called a joint sponsor whose does income meet the income requirement.

    The use of a joint sponsor is fairly common.

    I don’t understand that either. I know people who have brought people to the states on a K1 visa and have been told you need to have a certain level of income and assets to do so. This dude doesn’t have a job, right? How did that work?

    Also - just have to say. It’s great that he wants to have kids…but he’s 32 living in a studio apartment with no bedroom or bathroom. He’s certainly not in position to be thinking about kids. I guess not that, that necessarily stops a lot of people from still bringing kids into this world. But yeah like for me it’s very important that I’m established in my life before I bring kids into this world. You owe it to then imo.

    However - I will say their scenario seems sort of made up. Just doesn’t really make sense. Again - how did he qualify to bring her here? She mentions her family having money in episode 1 - and it’s presented as though she just lives off of that money. But then they’re on beach talking and when he tells her to get money from her family so they can live somewhere nicer she says she cut them off years ago? But then talks to her mom every day? Also - she was vocal about not wanting to live where they do (totally get that lol). But then again - makes it seem like she doesn’t have money due to her lack of relationship with her family. But then on a whim was able to just move out and rent what seems to be a pretty darn nice place? How?

    I know this is realty TV - makes me wonder how much if any of this show is actually real and true. As opposed to just a bunch of staged storylines for entertainment value.

      The idea that he mentions surrogacy is just insane. He evidently has no clue that the money to pay for this is well out of his reach.

      I know this is realty TV - makes me wonder how much if any of this show is actually real and true.

        Yeah I mean even adoption can be super expensive depending on how you do it. Idk just couldn’t help but laugh to myself. Like bro what? Probably wanna find a place with its own bedroom and bathroom before you start talking about kids…
