Yes, this is actually how expensive child care is. I don’t even have my daughter in daycare anymore, since she’s now 6, but I pay almost $545 month ($27.50 per day) a on the before and after school program (which is literally my daughter there 1.5 hr before school and 1.5-2hrs after school) so it makes sense he’d be paying over double that for full-time childcare, that’s like $65 per day.
Thankfully when my daughter was in daycare full-time I was eligible for subsidy cuz I could never afford that cost as a single mom.
