I am quite bad at staying focused when reading, I find myself reading the words on a page but taking absolutely none of it in. If I try insanely hard then I wont be able to finish a single page within an hour (Based on when I stopped reading books which was 7 years ago or something!)

I want to read fashion books but obviously this is an issue for me, should I get an audio book version? And if so, are audiobooks as useful for the brain as reading? Thanks for the help

There are quite a few really good audiobooks about fashion (which is something I like to read about, too). A few I’ve enjoyed recently: Pat in the City by Patricia Field, The Chiffon Trenches by Andre Leon Talley, and Anna by Amy Odell.

I was able to find all of them on Libby. Since it’s free, it would be worth trying one to see what you think.

i’m not sure the ones I want will be free :( also a lot of audiobooks of books by Margiella for example aren’t available available in the UK. I don’t know why I’m not sure what I should do.
