Bukowski was a cynical drunken misogynist whose poetry is very accessible (his short stories too), and I say this as someone who was once very into him myself but kind of over it by the end of adolescence. I still think some of his work has redeeming qualities but. Flip types legitimately always love him. I thought this was brilliant lol.
