I believe that Justin has been trying so hard to adjust to the fact of Nikki’s past. He has tried his hardest to focus on the emotional connection, in an attempt to relight the spark they once shared. He has also been very respectful.

I think when Nikki mentions that she has paid for some of Justin’s surgeries, something in me feels as though she facilitated that being a thing. I think she pays for them as a way to make him “love” her more but, it doesn’t work and she brings it up as a way to remind him of why he should love her. It’s manipulative…no?

I think naming him “Justin” which isn’t even his name is a testament to the fact that she wants him to be something he is not and she tries to build him into something she wants.

After being pressured into having sex with Nikki (which was genuinely so uncomfortable to watch), I think Nikki complaining about the sex was also just an example of her never being satisfied with his attempts.

If we watched a man say to a woman that he’d leave her if she didn’t have sex with him. There would be uproar.
