So a good friend of mine was upset today. She had an incident with her son and since teenagers will be teenagers, it was somewhat upsetting to her because of a few things he said. My first go to was, “Do you know what the happiest animal in the world is?” She got a good laugh out of that but was still upset saying she felt guilty. My next go was, “You beating yourself up is like Woody Allen playing the clarinet. I don’t want to hear it.”
Gotta love having those amazing quotes to help brighten someone’s day!
Hurt people, hurt people.
I used one from higgins recently, the one about the difference between a good and a great boss.
I hope that either all of us, or none of us, judged by the actions of our worst day.
I hope either all of us, or none of us are judged by our weakest moments, but rather by the strength we show when and if we are ever given a second chance.
next up tell her what her teenager says is just poopeh.
I like “find out before you freak out”. I remind myself that on stressful work days!
is it wrong that now i want nothing more than actually hear Woody Allen play the clarinet?
