It’s totally cool if you like, or even love, Leslie Jones.

What’s not cool is thinking that those of us who don’t love her, or think she is well suited to be the new host of The Daily Show have this opinion because we are racist.

Here is a list of black, female comedians–all who worked for The Daily Show, The Nightly Show, or The Opposition–and can deliver comedy without YELLING EVERY LINE OF DIALOGUE.

    Cool bro… but why did you feel the need to point out that she’s black anyway? Was it just so you could post your knowledge of 6 black female comedians? Ae you fighting some kind of weird argument with other people and thought to make a new thread? I personally don’t find Leslie funny, but I also don’t find Lisa Lampanelli funny either. Should I now list 6 white female comics that I like better than her?

    I think the racist thing is attaching the yelling to her being black, which you’ve done in the title of the post.

    Perfectly fine not to enjoy her style.

    Just stop! Your opinion is grating. Sounds like Karenism to me. It’s not only racist but sexist too. Women can be loud and funny. I get it if it’s not your thing, but to continue complaining like what she is doing is so appalling says more about you. No one had a problem with her on SNL. She has her style. If you don’t like it then don’t watch.

      Did you even read what i wrote? I am neither sexist nor racist. All of the other comedians I listed–who are black women–would do a fine job as host.

    I like Leslie and her style… it’s good to have some variety of style from host to host. Keeps things fresh.

    The real problem with Leslie Jones is that she is just so … unfuckable. There’s so many beautiful back women you could put on the daily show. Why do they need to send this boner buster in front of the camera. Honestly, it’s just rude at this point.

    I like Leslie Jones. However, she may not be for everybody and that’s fine too. I wouldn’t mind at all if she became the permanent host, but I also wouldn’t mind others as well. Just not Hasan Minaj please.

    Marina Frankel (Frankle?) has some granite-style delivery. She holds so steady it’s unnerving sometimes… making me laugh harder!
