I think that it’s one of the funniest seasons and does a great job getting you hooked by episode 3. Also, I find that the “filler” episodes in the middle of season 3/4 can feel like way more of a drag than the first half of season one

I agree it’s so hard to choose a favorite season because imo there all so good. They did such a good job with the first season they really get right into it and I love how on ep one you think it’s just a silly horse show and then by the end of the season your like that’s too much man

Which season had Bojack speaking to the “panel of ghost writers” telling Diane he “just needed her to tell him he was good”?

That was the moment I fell IN LOVE with the show. The writing, and Will Arnett’s poignant delivery.

Later seasons honestly didn’t impress me as much. I can’t remember which episodes felt draggy to me but they’re likely the same ones you felt were draggy, OP.

apart from the last 2 episodes, it’s such a good section in bojacks story to just enjoy. Full of puns and jokes and not nearly as serious as the rest. Especially episode 1.

Season one is only an issue the first time through for new watchers who don’t yet get where the show is going to go or it’s humor. Upon rewatches it’s great.
