I’m at a point where I need to sell some books to get more 😅 However, I always go back and forth about what price to put them at because I take really good care of my books, but people often complain saying I have it priced too high for a “used” book. I mean, quality wise, they still look and even smell new so what’s the big deal if I’ve read it once? I just want to make back what I bought them for. What are your opinions on this?
The books are only worth what buyers are willing to pay for them. Would you pay for a book face value if an owner already had it for a few years, even if it’s in good condition? Something that’s previously owned automatically depreciates in value so you ought to price it in such a way that the buyer feels like they’re getting a deal.
