DMT would probably be strong enough for a viltrimite. Although it may just be so strong for humans because we have evolved neuro-pathways specifically to process DMT as it gets released from our brain when we dream and die. These neuro-pathways also are the reason such an intense experience only lasts 15-20 minutes, as we have built in processors for it already.
