what is the symbolism of diane just wandering around in the present day asking people to move their cars? do u think that it’s because shes grown so much that parties and mr pb doesn’t affect her anymore? but then she hooks up with him so i don’t get it.

Also. todd was only 18 when he moved in with bojack and it actually is insane how much bojack tore down someone who was barely an adult.

Everytime Diane tries to solve her own problem someone else shows up and she has to solve their problem too because she thinks that’s what it takes to truly solve her own problem even if she could’ve just left it alone or ordered a cab all along.

She’s also stuck in a place, fancy Hollywoo party, where she doesn’t belong and doesn’t even want to be but leaving is too complicated.

Also, other people being idiots ends up being in her way and keeps her from doing her own thing.

I do feel like it shows some growth and change in Diane because she’s confidently disrupting the party and obviously attempting to leave. Before with Mr. PB, she’d try to blend in and enjoy the party, all the while hating herself for not enjoying the party like everyone else.

I feel like it also shows how tired she is of the shenanigans and people in her life in LA, including Bojack and Mr. PB, but also people like Pickles and Joey Pogo, and the partiers in general.
