I forgot how good his prose is. I’m not usually taken by that kind of thing. I read a lot of books with dragons and spaceships on the cover, but his similes and metaphors are so elegant and concise that every time they come up, I think, ‘Goddamn, I wish I could describe something one-tenth as well as that.’ I haven’t finished yet, but it’s also a fun story about how a fae keeps themselves occupied in the mortal world while they’re supposed to be laying low
Hi Patrick Rothfuss’s burner account! Release what we actually want to read. There are no excuses for your absence other than you can’t connect the dots or stage fright.
Really weird when people act like they speak for everyone. I actually want to read this.
Maybe people have lives outside of writing and prioritize things like family when they need to.
You can pretend there are no other excuses, but that is based on nothing but your own feelings and has nothing at all to do with reality.
