It’s always said later on that Voldemort killed Snape, and that Voldemort killed Cedric Digory. I feel like both of these are weird misconceptions because it’s clearly inferred that Wontail (Peter Pettigrew) killed Cedric and on the 7th book Nagini kills Snape at Malfoy manner. That’s at least what I got from it. Was there something I missed?

What does everyone else think?

Nagini is a horcux which means that he’s part of Voledmort’s soul so doesn’t that mean V did kinda kill Snape then?

    Wormtail, not Wontail.

And Voldemort is responsible for what his servants do under his orders. Ultimately, he IS responsible for those deaths.

Unless people claim that he killed them with his own bare hands, there’s nothing wrong with blaming Voldemort for deaths he caused by setting his servants on someone.

they’re attributed to Voldemort because he gave the order in both situations. Wormtail and Nagini would not have killed Cedric/ Snape if Voldemort did not order it.

When reading the 7th book I was convinced Neville was going to turn out to be the hero, and when Nagini killed Snape then Neville killed Nagini he became the owner of the special wand and it was going to be this amazing twist ending.

Then the book told me ‘no, technically Voldemort killed Snape’ and the book went with the predictable ending. I still think she pulled out of doing the twist because the books got too popular.
