Be aware that if you are not a Comic Book Reader these are kind of Spoilers for the next chapter… So be careful to not keep reading.

Anyways, after watching the episode, something caught my eye in regard of certain character´s physique.

I´m not against any change or creative decision they make in the show as long as it benefits the story or visual development of the show.

But it seemed pretty odd to use this kind of body type for a member of a race that´s usually depicted by being incredibly in top shape. I mean, our guy “Lucan” is pretty much in the standard Viltrumite shape in the comics, Why change it in the show ?

And of course, this is not by any means any kind of body-shaming or something along these lines… it´s a genuine doubt that i have in regards of this particular change.

For this kind of comments is why i made that disclaimer about my question not being related to body shaming. I`m not against body diversity … I just found quite peculiar this change of body type that relies principally in honing their combat skills to be better conquerors. On the other hand, Powerlifters and Strongmen rely solely in weight because they need leverage to be able to move inhuman quantities of weight but most of their activities don´t usually last longer than 5 minutes so cardio and fitness is not the main objective ( And of course, objectively, they´re legit athletes ). On the other hand, possibly, Viltrumite bodies certainly have a different way of processing food. Anyways … thanks for offering your point of view on this matter.
