Angstrom (the brainiac guy with the portals) took Debbie and Oliver (marks brother) hostages. Mark gets really, really pissed off when he sees his mom roughed up and bleeding (Angstrom beat her up). They then proceed to fight in multiple dimensions due to Angstrom’s portals and ultimately, they end up in a dessert where Mark beats the hell out of him.
