You were a non-reader, preferring to watch movies and series rather than touch a book.
But then, someone recommends a novel they think you’ll like, you flip through it and love it!
In case it’s the first part of a trilogy or series, and you decide to read the whole series (or at least read all the parts you get your hands on and, in case you can’t get your hands on the last ones, you decide to look for spoilers on the internet).
That was my experience with Warriors by Erin Hunter.
What’s yours?
They killed my account for nothing again ?
Pendragon by D.J. MacHale. Planning on reading it again soon!
The mystery of invisible thief by Enid Blyton. This was the first ever book I’ve read by my own will ( i issued it from my school library)
I would devour all of the Enid Blyton series. Owned many of them because my local library decided that Enid Blytons books were racist and were pulled from the shelves (this was in Sweden in the 1960s)
Free will is an illusion.
I have decided that I disagree with you.
Marcy journal from Amphibia, wonderful add on to the series!
Little House in the Big Wood. Granted I was 7 or so. Moved onto Eddings’s Belgariad series and was reading Stephen King by 10.
The Oz books by L Frank Baum
Inkheart by Cornelia Funke awakened my love for books. Loved the first two, but was very disappointed in the last book of the trilogy.
Goosebumps
The stargate atlantis boots
Willard Price Adventure series when I was about 9.
First book of any kind was Green Eggs and Ham when I was around 5.
First novel, from what I can remember, was Harry Potter when I was 9.
Green Eggs and Ham
Well? Did you like it?
Series? Percy Jackson and the Olympians🔥🔥🔥I was in 7th grade. I’m 28 now and still love it. Percy Jackson is just OP
I’m so excited for the show. Don’t think it’ll be anything like the movies, Riordan is heavily involved this time around
i was looking for this comment🔥🔥🔥i DEVOURED those books as a kid. genuinely life changing❤️🔥
Crescent city series by Sara j mass
Jaws.
I was 7 years old and my parents were really irresponsible letting me borrow that book from the library.
My all time favorite movie.
