I felt Anstrom’s origin story was sad and depressing ( apparently perfectly on brand for this show), poor communication kills.
Nobody stopped to explain anything; he probably would have really helped the world.
He is a sad broken man, imagine watching everyone you loved ripped away and killed. Then multiply that a thousand, thousand times over. He absorbed countless memories of a near endless well of Angstroms. Before his transformation he was ironically one of the best and most level headed of the “villains” noting that not all marks are bad.
The angstrom we see now is just a trauma blasted shell of the man we once knew who only knows and remembers pain, all directed to the mark who intruded and caused the accident he ends up one of the cruelest bastards alive
Mark didn’t cause the accident he took off the Helmet himself.
If you run in front of a car, and they swerve to avoid you, you caused that accident.
He too off the helmet to save mark
Indirect but if mark was not there the timeline would be way diff
