In both episode 8 and 9 there’s a scene where Nate sits on his desk rather than behind it. I don’t think we see that at any point earlier in the season and I think it’s a nice detail to show he’s loosening up.
I noticed it too but I took it to mean that he didn’t feel comfortable in his role, like he didn’t deserve what he had.
I don’t think he’s actually loosened up - I think he’s trying desperately to appear loosened up-because he wants to be like Ted.
Maybe in the first scene but in the second he’s just by himself working late.
yeah, noticed that too. seems like a subtle way of showing his character development. exciting to see how it plays out in the next season!
I don’t think he ever nailed or felt comfortable being “the guy”. He thought it would be so glamorous but quickly realized it was much more deeper than strategy on the pitch. But to your point he did actually loosen up right at the end of it.
I agree he doesn’t want to be the boss. And I think him accepting that is part of him loosening up.
yeah, noticed that too. it’s a subtle way to show his character development.
yeah, it’s like he’s getting more comfortable in his own skin. shows character growth for sure.
