This song lives rent free in my head.
I was at home watching it.
I just commented about this on a post asking, “why wasn’t Alan Jackson more popular for how great he was” hahaha
My parents listened to country so growing up I heard a lot of 80s and 90s country and Alan Jackson was huge for a while. As far as country artists. I also grew up in Kentucky and Tennessee, so country is popular. Now country isn’t so niche because it sounds like pop rock.
Niine Eleven.
Nine Eleven
did ya think it was kinda gey
The Japanese are building their own ladder to heaven and have reached the stratosphere
Lol back when the Japanese were producing all our electronics and people feared them taking over our economy the most. I guess nobody really foresaw the industrial capacity of China and American’s hunger for cheap low-quality products.
Japan was the Boogieman of the 80s.
…oh wow, I wanted to post a link to the original song but apparently:
As a reminder, videos are not permitted on this subreddit.
…I’d link “I thought this was America” video but it would get deleted…
Man I remember when that actual 9/11 song came out and people were eating it up. All I could think was how this much pandering on the back of a national tragedy made me feel a little queasy. So glad SP mocked it like this.
Write a song about it. Make it lame and gay
^HARD ^NIPPLES
