I’m still interested because I feel like I have to solve the mystery of why Ashley is all in on this guy. The sex can’t be that good–I mean, nothing about Manuel screams super charismatic in general, and then when you add in what seems to be his general disdain for Ashley’s entire existence, I can’t imagine the sex is so amazing that it caused her to be so dickmatized. So I feel like I need the mystery of why she can’t see the entire parade of red flags this man is throwing out to be solved.

As I responded to someone else, I think she’s intrigued by his mysteriousness. Also, it’s hard to find partners that accept you for who you are, so she probably has a certain comfort with him for always sticking around even after all the arguing/bickering.
Its possible to be beautiful and still have a low self esteem. Also i think many americans who seek this kind of arrangement think they will have control over their partner.
Exactly! I was watching nikki be a total bitch and I realized these women really don’t have anything to offer, these wack dudes are only around from something they can get from any American, nothing unique to them. That’s why she’s able to wait 7 years for this nobody of a man.
